Lee Mill Furnishings (L.M.F.) was started over 25 years ago by the current owners - husband and wife team Phil and Tilly Hellawell. L.M.F. has steadily developed a reputation for superb personal service, reliability and great value-for-money. The area's favourite furniture store draws most of it's business from repeat customers and from glowing recommendations. We continue to maintain the high standards which have seen L.M.F. go from strength to strength.

Several of our well-trained, friendly staff have been with us for 20 years or more, ensuring continuity of our legendary service.

PRICING

Our pricing is clear and easy to read. Over 90% of all display items have fixed cards. Time and again customers tell us we're very competitive. They must be right because we get a lot of repeat business and remain very busy.

DELIVERY SERVICE

All deliveries are by our own vans and our own polite, helpful staff. Deliveries are either free or at a modest charge dependent upon value and distance. Upstairs furniture is taken upstairs (providing the house dimensions permit). We NEVER turn up out of the blue, but within a time band agreed with you beforehand. Where we have your telephone number our delivery staff will usually try to let you know of any unforeseen overruns.

DELIVERY PERIODS

Many items are delivered rapidly from stock. However, many have to be ordered. We will quote you what we believe to be an honest estimate of the waiting period. We won't get it right all the time; on the other hand because our staff are not on commission, they will never intentionally mislead in order to 'trap' an order (don't think it doesn't happen elsewhere!)

COMPLAINTS / PROBLEMS

All of our staff (including the partners) are available to discuss any problems you may encounter. Where the issues raised are reasonable, we'll act as quickly as possible to address them.  

ASSEMBLY SERVICE

Bulky or complex furniture assembly may be something you would rather avoid, especially large bedroom furniture. We can arrange for a friendly, efficient assembly team to quote for a reasonably priced, optional assembly service.
